Italian cyclist team reaches Myingyan

A cyclist team comprising four Italians from Porto Viro, Veneto region reached Myingyan at 12 noon on 18 January. The team left the anciety city of Inwa, Mandalay, early in the morning.


Officials from Myingyan town and Myingyan bicycle fans welcomed the Italians at Nabuain Village and escorted them into Myingyan Town.


The Italians, Mauro Garbin, Vincenzo Mancin, Vittorio Cacciatori and Mario Mantovan, left Inwa, together with U Zaw Myo Latt, the director of the regional Directorate of Hotels and Tourism, and U Win Aung, the deputy director from the Bagan branch office. 


Along the road, the Italian cyclist team had the opportunity to observe the ancient cultures and natural scenery.


Moreover, the Italian cyclist team posed for photos, together with the fans from Myingyan, at the town entrance and in front of the Bogyoke Statues. Then, the Italian cyclist team signed the Italy shirts worn at the world cup and gives them away as presents.
