The final match of an invitational football contest was held at the sport ground in Taung Khin Yan Village, Gangaw Township in Magway Region on 12 October.
In the final game, Taung Khin Yan village beat Shwebo Village 4-2 and was crowned the champion trophy. An official from the Sports and Physical Education Department and the village administrator presented champion trophy, cash and individual awards to prize winners. The football competition was organized by the village sport development committee in honour of the centenary of establishment of the village.
A total of nine teams took part in the football contest that run from 22 September to 12 October.
