Illegal game house manager, workers, gamers arrested in Myitkyina

A manager, workers and gamers in an illegal game house were arrested in Thida ward in the town of Myitkyina, Kachin state on 20 April, according to local police station.

 

Shortly after receiving the information about illegal game, Police Sub-Inspector Thet Mya Aung and members rushed to a house in Thida ward where an illegal game is being played.

 

The police arrested manager Ma Kyi Pya, 28, of the game house, five workers and 15 gamers and seized four big Shark Game machines, four small Shark Game machines, one control machine, nine motorbikes and K 353, 000 put for bets.

 

The authorities filed charges against all those engaged in an illegal activity at Myitkyina Myoma Police station under the Gambling Act.—Win Naing ( Kachin Myay)
