Well-wishers and donors led by Pyithu Hluttaw MP U Kyaw Tint donated consumer goods such as rice, edible oil, ginger, soap to the presiding monk in a monastic education and youth development center in Kyauksayit Gone village in Tatkone township yesterday evening.
The donation contains nine bags of rice, ten viss of edible oil (about 16.3 kg), two viss of ginger (about 3.2 Kg), 50 pieces of carbolic soaps, roasted lablab beans and others. Including the presiding monk, four monks, 87 novices and 47 nuns are residing in the monastery.—Tin Soe Lwin (IPRD)
