Household effects to the value of K 230000 were lost in a fire that broke out at a house in Palian-3 Yan Aung Myay ward in Tachilek, Shan State (East) yesterday evening. The fire started from a lit candle on the shrine of Daw Nan Myint’s house.
Firefighters and police members in collaboration with the residents put out the fire in five minutes, using one water truck and two fire engines. No causalities were reported in the incident.
Action is being taken against Kyaw Thu Aung, 36 for his negligence by Tachilek Myoma Police Station.—Khaing Khaing (IPRD)
