A high school in South Okkalapa Townsnhip, Yangon Region has been diverted into a quarantine center under the supervision of the township COVID-19 control and prevention committee.
The chairman of township level COVID-19 control and prevention committee, staff from the Department of Public Health, the township development committee, Department of Fire Services, and volunteers made arrangements for the people who will be placed under observation at the quarantine center. Those wishing to donate cash and kind to the quarantine center can contact the township level COVID-19 control and emergency response committee.
The quarantine center will accept around 60 people including the coronavirus positive patients and their family members in the township.—Win Htet Htet Aung
