A motorist was killed and another motorist seriously injured in a head-on collision between two motorbikes that took place in the town of Khin-U, Shwebo district, Sagaing region yesterday afternoon, according to a local police station.
Soon after information received, police officers from Kongyi police outpost dashed to the accident spot near mile post 14/6 on Shwebo-Myitkyina road in Khin-U to inspect the incident.
A motorbike driven by Po Lapyae collided head-on with another motorbike driven by an unidentified man with Yan Aye onboard. Both motorists died on the spot with multiple serious injuries on their heads.
Yan Aye, 28, the pillion rider had his left leg broken in the accident and was transported to Khin-U people hospital for medical treatment.—Chit San ( Khin-U)
