An event to hand over handmade masks provided by the local government was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Maungdaw Township in Rakhine State on December 30.
At the ceremony, Township Administrator U Aung Ye clarified the purpose of presenting homemade masks and handed over the masks to respective ward and village administrators.
A total of 15,000 handmade masks are reportedly being distributed to grassroots from 90 wards and villages by ward and village administrators, commencing December 31.—Thet Lwin Soe (IPRD)
