A ceremony to hand over funds of VDP to villages where developmental projects will be implemented in Laihka Township, Loilem District, Shan State (South) was held at the Township General Administration Department on July 20.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Township Administration Council gave opening remarks and an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purpose of provision. Then the officials handed over 10 million each to responsible people from five villages in the township.
The occasion was attended by Chairman and members of Township Administration Council, departmental personnel, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development, members of village development committees and invited guests.
