With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were dispensed to members of village emerald green project committee in Kyauk-Oo Village in Thayet Township, Magway Region yesterday afternoon. The disbursement of loans is the sixth of its kind in the village.
On the occasion, an official from the township Department of Rural Development gave speech and clarified the purposes of the project. Then, officials disbursed Ks. 40.9 million to 169 members of village emerald green project committee in the Village.
Staff from the Township DRD provided loan of the projects to members of village emerald green project committee in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.—Ko Hlaing
