A fruit and flower competition to mark 73rd anniversary of Union Day will take place at the Department of Agriculture in Kanthayar (Shwe Leinmaw Island) in Monywa, Sagaing Region starting from 10 to 12 February, according to the region Department of Agriculture.
“With the aim of exchanging views and opinions on agricultural practices and experiences, the three-day fruit and flower competition will be held. In the competition, farmers in Sagaing Region can participate with fruits and flowers planted by themselves. The prize distribution ceremony will take place at the Region Department of Agriculture on 12 February” said an official from the Region Department of Agriculture.
Those who want to participate in the competition will send their own fruit and flower to the display of the Sagaing Region Department of Agriculture starting from 9 February to 10 February not later than 5 pm.
