A medical team led by Obstetrical & Gynecological specialist Professor Dr. Kyu Kyu Hlaing offered free healthcare services to local people in conjunction with a health talk in Kyaunggon Township, Ayeyawady Region on 27 March.
The ophthalmology team conducted free medical check-ups, performed surgery and gave educative healthcare talk at a public hospital in Kyaunggon. They also performed minor procedures for more than 160 patients.
The specialist team disseminated knowledge about endometrial cancer, risk of abortion, seasonal influenza for children and immunization campaign. Well-wishers donated food and drinking water to the patients.—Win Kyaing (IPRD)
