Ngazun, 8 July
Four houses were burned to ashes in a house fire in Aut Yoe Village in Mandalay Regions’ Ngazun Township, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The fire broke out in a house of a man identified as U Sein Phoe from Aut Yoe Village at about 4:30 p.m. on July 4. The fire is believed to have started from the kitchen and spread nearby houses. Firefighters from three local fire services stations took about an hour and a half with the use of six fire engines.
No one was injured in the incident, but four houses were destroyed by the blaze. Action has been taken against the house owner over fire negligence by the local police station.
