Foodstuff provided to IDP camps in Paletwa Tsp., Chin State

4 January

Burmese American Community Institutes (BACI) and Collaborative Initiative for Change and Development (CICD) jointly provided foodstuff and relief items to those who are in IDP camps in Shinletwa and Meza villages in Paletwa Township, Chin State on January 2.

“First we arranged to donate in Semee village but State Minister for Municipal Affairs, Electricity and Industry U Soe Htet urged to provide in Shinletwa and Meza villages because the camps in the two villages are more difficult than Semee village”, said a responsible person on behalf of BACI and CICD.

A total of 130 bags of rice, 300 blankets, 960 bars of soap, 250 viss of dried fish and 400 liters of cooking oil were provided to 672 people in the camps.
