Five water supply projects will be implemented in Zeegon Township, Thayawaddy District, Bago Region during 2021-2022 FY, according to Township Department of Rural Development.
With the aims of solving water scarcity in summer and distributing purified drinking water in rural areas, the Township Department of Rural Development will conduct five water supply projects with K 40.62 million of funds of Union Budget and Regional Budget.
The projects including digging a tube well, construction of a water plant and a water tank will be conducted in Oakpho, Thaekaw, Thitphyubin, Chaungnar and Kyuntaw villages. Upon completion, local people in the township will be available enough drinking water in all seasons, according to Township Department of Rural Development.
