With the aim of preventing cervical cancer, first human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign will be conducted in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region in the second week of September.
According to the survey, there are 968 girls between 8 and 9 years old in the wards and 84 villages in the township. Myinmu Township Department of Public Health will inject all the girls with HPV vaccine, according to an official from the Township Maternal and Child Welfare Department.
