A ceremony to open first aid training course was held at Sub-B.E.M.S in Myoma Ward in the town Monyo, Tharyawady District, Bago Region this morning.
First, the township Administrator U Tin Oo Kyaw and the township Deputy Administrator U Than Aung gave speeches.
Then, patron of the township Red Cross Society U Tun Myint and staff officer of the township Red Cross Society U Myint Htay gave a speech and clarified the purpose of the course.
The five-day training course which will run from October 16-20 is being attended by 70 trainees. Also present on the occasion were officials from the township General Administration Department, staff of the township Red Cross Society, staff officer of the township Education officer’s Office, teachers and students and trainees.
