No casualties were reported after a fire broke out in a village in Magway Township this morning.
The fire started from a home in the northern part of Kyitsonpway Village at around 10:45 a.m. today. The blaze was brought under control by firefighters from the township fire brigade and residents at about 11:10 a.m. and was completely extinguished 15 minutes later.
No one was injured in the fire which engulfed 17 nearby houses, according to the initial news.—IPRD
