A fire drill was conducted in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event at the Myoma market in the town of Yatsauk, Shan State(South) on 27 December.
At the event, staff officer of the Township Fire Services Department U Aung Phyo Min shared knowledge about the danger of fire.
Afterwards, firefighters led by U Aung Phyo Min orchestrated how to use fire extinguishers, wet clothes and fire engines when a fire breaks out in the compound of the market. Afterwards, fire fighters and local people practically extinguished the fire using fire extinguishers, wet clothes and two fire engines.
