A fire broke out in Suelaegone village, Kyaukse Township yesterday. The fire started from an ember left in the house and spread to a nearby house, according to the confirmation of the Fire Services Department.
Officials from the Fire Services Department put out the fire with four fire engines and one water tanker. The fire was extinguished in 40 minutes.
The fire engulfed five houses but no casualties were reported in the incident. The township authorities are providing shelters and food to the fire victims in cooperation with village administrators.
