Dagon Myothit(East), 17 February
Fire broke out in a house on Sethmuleya-Road in ward-13, Dagon Myothit(North) Township, Yangon Region at about 7:15 am on 17 February and, completely destroyed a house.
According to an investigation, the fire was thought to have started from overheated wire in the house of Daw Khin Cho Oo. But no casualties were reported.
Firemen from the District and township Fire Services Department rushed to the scene to fight the fire in collaboration with local police members using nine fire engines and five water tankers and, the blaze was successfully extinguished at about 7:40 am.—Aye Min Zu(Township IPRD)
