A fire which was caused by an ember left in the house broke out in Deikgon Village, Htantapin Township, northern Yangon Yangon District at 2:00 pm yesterday according to Township Fire Service Department.
Firemen with the help of three fire-engines from Hlinethaya Township, Hline Township and Shwe Linban Fire Departments in cooperation with local reserve firemen rushed to the scene and put out the fire in 30 minutes.
The investigation revealed that a fire was started from an ember at the house of U Lin Lin Htike.
About K 36,000 worth property was damaged during the fire. Authorities filed a case against U Lin Lin Htike for his negligence.—Zin Min Htike (Htan Ta pin)
