A ceremony to provide cash aid to elderly people above 85 years old, pregnant women and children below two years old was held at the town hall of Loikaw in Kayah State this morning.
First of all, Minister for Ministry of Development Affairs and Social Affairs Dr. Aung Kyaw Htay delivered an opening speech and explained matters relating to cash aid to senior citizens, pregnant women and children in the township.
Then, Dr. Aung Kyaw Htay, the state Hluttaw Representative U Aung Naing Oo and officials provided cash aid to elderly people above 85 years old, pregnant women and children below two years old.
Then, a mother spoke words of thanks on behalf of pregnant women and children to officials. Next, officials encourage elderly people, pregnant women and children.
Also present on the ocassion were, Dr. Aung Kyaw Htay, U Aung Naing Oo, departmental officials, elderly citizens, pregnant women and children.—Tun Lay (Loikaw)
