FIFA, AFC send birthday wishes to MFF president

FIFA president Gianni Infantino and Asian Football Confederation president Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa respectively sent their birthday wishes to Myanmar Football Federation president U Zaw Zaw on his 53rd birthday, which was fallen on 22 August 2020 (yesterday), according to the statement with the MFF.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino sent his wishes that “May this special day be filled with happiness and may we continue to work together for the future of this beautiful game that unites us all.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your efforts and your contribution to the development of our sport and the promotion of its value in Myanmar.

I wish good health to you, your family, friends and loved ones, and I look forward to seeing you again very soon.”

AFC president Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa stated that “I am delighted to convey to you my heartfelt greetings and best wishes for a happy birthday.

On behalf of the AFC and the entire Asian football family, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitments towards the development of football in your country and this great continent.

I hope that the coming year brings you good health, happiness and success – both personally and in your work to build a stronger and brighter future for Asian football through unity and stability, along with us.

On his birthday, U Zaw Zaw made special merit by changing himself as a Buddhist monk in PyinOoLwin, according to a statement with the U Zaw Zaw’s social media page.
