A ceremony to provide farmland compensation to farmers whose farmlands were confiscated for construction of basic industrial area in Shwepyitha Township, Yangon Region conducted by Myanmar Timber Enterprise was held this morning.
At the ceremony, a total of 27 farmers were provided with K 25744.2 million of farmland compensation at a rate of K 10 million per acre.
On the occasion, MP U Yan Aung Min of Regional Hluttaw, District Administrator U Soe Thein, Chairman of Management Committee, Township Administrator and farmers were in attendance.
