Twante 27 December
A ceremony to provide farmland and crop compensation to farmers whose farmlands were confiscated for the construction of Zeebyugone and Takalee bridges on Maubin-Twante Road in Twante Township, Yangon Region was held at the Township General Administration Department on December 27.
At the ceremony, Chairman of Township Administration Council clarified the purpose of the provision of farmland and crop compensation and gave farmland compensation to the farmers. During 2019-2020 FY, K 70 million of farmland compensation was provided to 12 farmers for their 2.80 acres of farmland.
The occasion was attended by Chariman of Township Administration Council, officials from Department of Roads and farmers.
