Under the leadership of the township committee for Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment, measures have been stepped up to fight against the virus at crowded places in the town of Kali, Loilem District, Shan State (South) this morning.
In a bid to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the township Administrator U Ye Min Tun and staff, Second Lieutenant Myo Ko Ko and soldiers from Light Infantry Battalion No. 151, Police Inspector Hla Han and police members from Kali Police Station, departmental officials, ward Administrators and locals handed out facial masks free of charge to passers-by on Pyidaungsu Road, in front of Myoma market, and shared knowledge about the danger of COVID-19 pandemic.
