The Information and Public Relations Department under the Ministry of Information and the Department of Basic Education under the Ministry of Education jointly organized an essay competition for students from middle schools at Community Center in Mohnyin, Kachin State this morning.
The event was held to mark the 72nd anniversary of the Union Day. Altogether 14 students from three middle schools throughout the township participated in the essay contest titled, “Unity is strength”.
Those who stand first, second and third places in the essay competition will be awarded together with the prize winners in a puzzle game for kids at the community center on 29 January.—Kyaw Kyaw Htwe (IPRD)
