In commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of Armed Force Day which falls on March 27, informative talks, essay competition and book fair were held at the community center of Information and Public Relations Department in Metman Township, Wa Self-Administered Division of Shan State (North) this morning. The event was jointly organized by the Township Department of Basic Education and the Township Information and Public Relation Department.
On the occasion, an official from the Township Information and Public Relations Department clarified the purposes of the event and explained rule of competition to be followed by students.
Metman Township Information and Public Relations Department organizes book fair, essay competition, roundtable discussions and talk show to improve knowledge of the students in the Township.—District IPRD
