A 13th-day meeting of the elev-enth regular session of Second Amyotha Hluttaw was held at Amyotha Hluttaw building in Nay Pyi Taw where asterisk marked questions were raised and answered by Union Minis-ter for Education Dr. Myo Thein Gyi. Later Bill committee report on a bill was read and the bill was decided and approved by the Hluttaw.

Asterisk-marked ques-tions covering education re-lated matters including up-grading of schools, Myanmar’s hosting of 19th ASEAN Uni-versity Games and participa-tion in earlier 18 Games were asked by U Sai San Aung of Shan State constituency 12, Daw Htu May of Rakhine State constituency 11, U Kyaw Toke of Mandalay Region constitu-ency 7, U Hla Myint @ U Hla Myint Than of Mon State con-stituency 11, U Htein Win of Ay-eyawady Region constituency 4, U Naing Thiha of Mon State constituency 7 and U Zon Hle Htan of Chin State constituen-cy 4 were answered by Union Minister for Education Dr. Myo Thein Gyi.
Hluttaw approves a bill amending Myanmar Engi-neering Council Law
After the asterisk-marked questions were posed and an-swered, a Bill Committee report on a bill amending Myanmar Engineering Council Law ap-proved and sent by Pyithu Hlut-taw with amendments was read and explained.Next Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than announced the approval of the bill after Hluttaw decided on it.The 14th-day meeting of the eleventh regular session of Sec-ond Amyotha Hluttaw will be held on 18 February it is learnt.
