Village administrator and members presented social pension provided by the township Department of Social Welfare to senior citizens above 85 years old in Myengu village-tract in Tada-U Township, Mandalay Region yesterday on a door to door basis.
Under this cash aid program, senior citizens who are eligible for social pension in the village-track received K 30000 each for the months of July, August and September.
There are 24 elderly people including 14 women and 10 men in Myengu village-track in Tada-U Township.
Altogether 911 elderly people including 251 men and 660 women in Tada-U Township have already received social pension for the month of July, August and September.—Ye Tint, IPRD
