Police members from Myawaddy Myoma Police Station stopped a vehicle driven by Aung Soe Moe in ward-4 in Myawaddy and arrested a driver along with 3773 stimulant tablets yesterday evening, according to information released by the Myanmar Police Force.
In a similar incident, Policemen from Thaton Myoma Police Station raided the house of Kaung Kyaw Khant in Theingon Ward in the town of Thaton and confiscated 1536 stimulant tablets and K 60000 in the house. As a result of investigation, authorities raided the home of Myo Zaw in Kyawktan Village in Thaton Township and arrested him.
The authorities filed charges against the two under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
