Htilin, 9 April
Authorities seized drugs in Ward-1 and Ward-2 in the town of Htilin, Gangaw District yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, policemen led by Police Sub-inspector Pyaesun Aung from Htilin Myoma Police Station together with witnesses conducted a thorough search in Ward-1 and Ward-2 in the town of Htilin and seized 0.36 grams of drugs believed to be heroin from the two men identified as Tin Aung Lin and Than Htike Oo.
Similarly, Police members from Htilin together with witnesses the same day searched the house of Bo Min Oo and seized drugs believed to be heroin weighing 5.65 grams worth K 452000.
The authorities filed charges against the three under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—U Kyaw Than Swe (Gangaw)
