A combined team led by Police Capt Khaing Soe Tun from Bamauk Police Station, Police Sub-inspector Wei Phyo from Katha District Anti-Drug Squad, Police Sub-inspector Ye Lin Aung from Mansikyi region police outpost, Police Sergeant Tin Aung Win from Shwedaw police outpost yesterday searched U Tun Yi’s house in Kuseik Village, Man-in Minkung village track, Bamauk Township and discovered white powder believed to be heroin, weighing 10.00 grams and 1250 WY brand stimulant tablets worth K 6.25 million, and K 1.76 million from Thu Nyi Nyi (a) Nyi Lay (a) San Mya Aung from Kuseik Village, Bamauk Township, Sagaing Region.
The authorities filed a case against Thu Nyi Nyi (a) Nyilay (a) San Mya Aung under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—Ni Toe
