DPH, ARDA jointly organize training course for auxiliary midwives in Hlaingbwe

Hlaingbwe, 11 June

 


An opening ceremony of a training course for auxiliary midwives was held at a public hospital in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State yesterday.

 


The training course, the 14th time of its kind was jointly conducted by the Department of Public Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA Myanmar), an INGO which is implementing tasks to eliminate poverty in the country. At the ceremony, Hlaingbwe Township Administrator U Min Thein gave an opening address.

 


Afterwards, an official from the Department of Public Health clarified the purpose of the training course. The training course is being attended by 20 trainees.—IPRD
