The Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports conducted a mass immunization campaign for measles and rubella at the ward administrator’s office in Ywama Ward, Insein Township in Yangon Region this morning.
The children aged 9-month to 15 years old will be injected with vaccination against measles and rubella free of charge from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from 17 to 28 February in the township. The employees from the department, local authorities and members of the ward-level maternal and child welfare association have also been immunized against measles and rubella.—Zwe Htet Ko (IPRD)
