Displaced people provided with relief supplies in Mrauk-U Tsp

Myanmar Red Cross Society provided relief supplies to displaced people, who fled their homes due to clashes between Myanmar government forces and ethnic armed group (AA), in a camp in “Shwe-Taung” monastery, in Mrauk-U township, Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state yesterday.

 

Members of the Red Cross led by U Maung Hla, the commander of the Township MRCS went to the camp opened in the monastery and provided relief items to the displaced people.

 

Members of the Red Cross handed over 37 pieces of waterproof canvas and 70 treated mosquito nets to the 37 households who fled “Ywahaungtaw” village and are now taking refuge in the camp.— District IPRD
