Disinfectants were sprayed at the buildings of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, Pyithu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw yesterday morning as a move to prevent spread of COVID-19 in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.
Meeting halls and dining rooms were disinfected by 20 Defence Service personnel and 80 members of Nay Pyi Taw Fire Services Department, using 4 disinfecting vehicles, 6 fire engines, 2 water tankers and 2 Robotic Fire Fighting (LUF 60) vehicles.
The disinfections were supervised by the directors-general of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Office, the Fire Services Department and military officers of Nay Pyi Taw Command. Combined teams of officials will also carry out disinfections in Nay Pyi Taw council area in coming days.—MNA
