With the funds of Magway Region Government, a tube well is digging in Gaunggin village in Aunglan Township, Magway Region on July 25. Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development made a field trip to inspect the progress of digging well in the village.
The officials from the Department inspected the digging process and urged the responsible people from the company to meet the set standard within the target date.
Digging a 400 ft deep tube well, construction of a water tank capable of 2400 gallons of water and related work are being conducted with K 20.63 million allocated by funds of regional government. The project is being undertaken by tender winning company starting from fourth week of June. Now, it has been completed by 40 percent, according to an official from the Township DRD.
Upon completion, 256 people from 69 households in the village will be available drinking water in all seasons.
