Rural roads in five villages in Laymyathnar Township, Hinthada District, Ayeyawady Region are being upgraded into concrete roads during 2021-2022 FY. Officials from Township Department of Rural Development made an inspection at the construction site in the township on January 7.
With the aim of developing rural areas, developmental works such as upgrade of rural roads, water supply project and electrification project are being undertaken with K 10 million each funded by VDP. During 2021-2022 FY, developmental works are being undertaken in Myitkyo, Daunggyi, Seesonegone, Gyoegone and Laeoosu villages.
Now, the projects have been completed by 50 percent and upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to local people, helping local products deliver to markets with saving time and money.
