Construction of a wooden pedestrian bridge in Kongtae village, Salin Township, Minbu District, Magway Region has been completed, Township Department of Rural Development.
The bridge which is 260 ft in length, 5 ft in width and 18 ft in height was built with K 10 million funded by VDP and K 4.9 million contributed by public starting from March.
Upon completion, it will benefit a total of about 1000 local people from over 300 households, said a member of village development committee.
