Construction of rural road in Wuntho Township completed by 100%

With the aim of saving time and money, the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing village development projects in seven villages in Wuntho Township, Sagaing Region with Ks. 70.0 million, and the construction works of a rural road in Thintaw Village in the Township was completed by 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

 

A gravel type road measuring 3000 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and nine inches in thickness was built with Ks. 10 million allotted by regional government. The construction works of the road began on 12 December, 2021 and has been fully completed on 5 January, 2022.

 

The road will benefit 320 rural people from 54 households in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Min Myint Mor(DRD)
