The Township Department of Rural Development implemented a concrete paving work of Naungbo-Kawhmu thwe inter-village road in Hpa-an Township of Kayin State with the state government budget.
Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development made a field trip to inspect the completion of concrete paving work of road on March 13. During the inspection tour, officials met with responsible officials from the construction company, and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.
The concrete paving work of road measuring five furlongs in length, 16 ft. in width and six inches in volume has been implemented since the fourth week of May, 2023 with K 146.81 million allocated by the State Government for 2023-2024 fiscal year, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
The road benefits over 600 acres of farmland of 4500 people from 1000 households in the two villages in the Township.—Soe Lwin(DRD)
