Chinnyinaung bridge commissioned into service in Kayin State

Chinnyinaung bridge which links Hpa-an District with Hpapun District in Kayin State was opened at the archway of the bridge this morning with an introductory speech by Chief Minister of Kayin State Government Daw Nan Khin Htwe Myint.

The Kayin State Chief Minister, the State Hluttaw Speaker U Saw Chit Khin, Minister of Environmental Conservation, Forestry, Mining, Roads and Transport U Saw Pyi Thar and Chief Engonnner (Civil) of the Bridge Department U Thein Myint Mon cut ribbons to open the bridge and then inspected it.

The bridge is 91.44 meter in length, 9.14 meter in width flanked by 0.91-m wide pedestrian lanes on either side.

 The bridge built at a cost of K 115 million enhances the socio-economic status of local people.–Saw Myo Thein (IPRD).
