A ceremony to provide cash assistance to mothers and their children who were born between a period from December 2019 to January 2019 was held at the office of Khinekam Social Welfare Department in Teddin Township, Chin State this morning.
Before the cash provision ceremony, Midwife Daw Lun Ngaik Hei of Khinekam Rural Health Branch clarified about the procedures of breastfeeding.
This was followed by the ceremony in which K 15000 was given to each child. There are altogether 169 children who are entitled to receive the cash assistance.—Khinekam IPRD
