An event to provide financial aid to the family of a man who was struck to death by lightning and people whose homes were damaged by strong winds in Thaputgyi Village in Nattalin Township was held at the meeting room of the Township General Administration Department in Nattalin Township, Bago Region yesterday afternoon.
Chairman of the District Administration Council U Khin Maung Oo, Chairman of the township Administration Council U Kyaw Kyaw Oo and members and officials from the Township Department of Disaster Management attended the event and provided Ks. 300000 to the family of a lightning victim and Ks. 1466400 to 25 households whose homes were damaged by strong winds in Thaputgyi Village in Nattalin Township.—Wai Yan Phyo
