A ceremony to provide pregnant women and children below two years old was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in Leiktho sub-Township, Thandaunggyi Township, Kayin State yesterday.
First, the town Administrator U Saw Myat Kyaw gave an opening speech and clarified the purpose of cash aid for pregnant women and children below two years old. Next, the town Administrator U Saw Myat Kyaw handed over K 21.3 million provided by the government amid the outbreak of COVID-19 to 1285 pregnant women and 3467 children from wards and villages in the sub-township.
The town Administrator also presented K 30000 each to 250 persons with disabilities from villages and wards in the sub-Township.
