A ceremony to provide pregnant women and children below two years old was held in Kamethamu Village in the town of Shanywathit, Hpa-an District, Kayin State this morning.
Firstly, the village administrator U Maung Lung gave a speech and clarified the purpose of provision of cash aid for pregnant women and children under two years old.
Then, officials provided K 702,0000to to pregnant women and children below two years old for the month of October, November and December.
Altogether 158 people including 2 pregnant women and 156 children below two years old from the town of Shan Ywathit received K 45000 each.—Zin Lay, IPRD
