The district Department of Disaster Management provided cash aid to a woman who was struck by lightning in Kyaungkon Village in Minbu Township, Magway Region yesterday.
Officials from the District Department of Disaster Management made a domiciliary visit to provide cash assistance to the home of a lightning victim and handed over K 50000 to her.
A woman, identified as Daw Ohnmar was struck by lightning and suffered serious injuries to her legs in Kyaungkon Village on 8 June, it is learnt.
