An event to provide cash assistance to flood victims whose homes became relocated due to riverbank erosion was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in Pantanaw Township, Maubin District, Ayeyarwady Region yesterday.
Officials from the district Department of Disaster Management under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided a total of K 233600 for purchasing rice and construction materials to 16 family members from two households in Nangatyoe Village in the township on a door to door basis.
